My name is Chris
I am three,
My eyes are swollen
I cannot see,
I must be stupid
I must be bad,
What else could have made
My daddy so mad?
I wish I were better
I wish I weren't ugly,
Then maybe my mommy
Would still want to hug me.
I cant do a wrong
I cant speak at all
Or else im locked up
All day long.
When im awake im all alone
The house is dark
My folks aren't home
When my mommy does come home
I'll try and be nice,
So maybe ill just get
One whipping tonight.
I just heard a car
My daddy is back
From Charlies bar
I hear him curse
My name is called
I press myself
Against the wall
I try to hide
From his evil eyes
Im so afraid now
I'm starting to cry
He finds me weeping
Calls me ugly words,
He says its my fault
He suffers at work
He slaps and hits me
And yells at me more,
I finally get free
And run to the door
Hes already locked it
And I start to bawl,
He takes me and throws me
Against the hard wall
I fall to the floor
With my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues
With more bad words spoken,
'Im sorry!', I scream
But its now much to late
His face has been twisted
Into a unimaginable shape
The hurt and the pain
Again and again
O please God, have mercy!
O please let it end!
And he finally stops
And heads for the door
While I lay there motionless
Sprawled on the floor
My name is Chris
I am three,
Tonight my daddy
Murdered me

day after day i let you down promise you to change then change my mind
I laughed as she rolled her eyes. Her every motion amused me. She kissed me, and it was very distracting. "Do you have parents? Mentors? People that will worry about you?" I liked the idea of keeping her to myself, but I would not want to cause other people pain for Keira's disappearance. "I was feeling a little evil," I said. Why was I going to Melancholios? "I guess I was... bored. Look, your Charavanita genes are telling you not to go!" I shivered as her hand trickled down my hair, like cool water on a flaming day, and was thankful that it was not tangly and knotted. "I think it was me who found you, anyway." I contemplated the thought of living forever in Jinositu. I had spent a year of my life here, it was not too bad, "If we lived in the forest forever, you would get awfully sick of knar-var meat. "You said that this place scares you anyway."

Yesterday I stood and stared Wide-eyed in front of you
I smiled down at her, although still a little anxious, as she leaned on me. "What about your mother?" Her father seemed nice. I wondered idly where she had got her liberal beliefs from. I still felt worried, nervous, afraid of rejection, but I decided that what happened would happen. After all, if I was throwing away my beliefs, I had better throw them all. "You amaze me," I murmured. "You... like... me when I have only been cool to you, you want to stay with me, for me to meet your parents..." I shook my head slightly, a little disbelieving at fate. "You are so... carefree. I mean it as a good thing." I was the same. I wondered at myself for a moment, and wrapped my arm around her. "Well then, I guess we are going to Charvanita." Ironic, how it was the opposite of my original destination. I felt warm, as if I had been swimming for weeks and had not realized the cold temperature until the sun had hit the water around me.
And the face I saw looked back The way I wanted to But I just can't hold my tears away The way you do ~The Cure, A Letter To Elise ooc:// good point. ^^ Oh well... -- Allllvidia again:) *runs away from Z screaming* SCARRRRY!

Hold me up so high and never let me go...
Her words surprised me. She had such confidence in me not to fear that I would not make a repeat. I contemplated the issue again. Of course she would not try to hurt me, but I was still sure that she would. Oh well. I had put that issue aside, and I was determined to forget it, to leave it alone. I kissed her back frantically, forgetting everything but her, holding her next to me as if the world would come apart if I let her go. I had to surface for air, gasping to intake as much oxygen as possible. I could feel my heart pounding like a woodpecker, and I struggled to calm myself. Reluctantly, I broke free, and rested my chin upon hers again. "We should get going," I sighed reluctantly, and I stated humming a soft tune of happiness. I swayed us to and fro to the tune, like reeds in the wind. "Or else we'll never get going..." I think I was more trying to persuade myself than telling Keira.
Oh, take me, take me in your arms to touch the sky just one more time.. ~The Cure, One More Time -- Alvidia once more:D

The NWleads this week with the ‘news' that Twilight actors Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have a new joint production in the works - a baby.
"They face their toughest challenge yet as Kristen reveals her baby news," the mag reports.
The mag is pretty sure it even knows when the couple did the business and everything. - reportedly after the MTV Movie Awards in LA in May.
And its evidence? A picture of Kristen dressed as Joan Jett on the set of The Runaways with the fly of her very tight leather trousers open. Perhaps she was just avoiding doing them up until the last possible minute? They don't look comfortable.
Tres juicy - if true! I doubt. You?
He's currently filming Remember Me in New York, where fans are hating on his newly separated co-star, Aussie actress Emilie de Ravin, after rumours spread about the pair's electric chemistry. Kristen's working on The Runaways in LA with Dakota Fanning.
Fans of Rob will come over all aquiver when they read the NW's piece on ‘the heart-throb's past loves kiss-and-tell on what he's really like.'
‘When our lips touched, I felt electricity go between us' says one ex.
‘He's even better in person than he is in photos,' says another.
None of them will be getting much more out of Pattinson if his aunt Diana Nutley has anything to do with it. "He's only 23 and probably won't get married until he's 40, if he has any sense."

All of this homework does not make our children any smarter; it does not prepare them any better for standardized tests; and, in many cases, homework is not graded, so it doesn’t even help with grades and getting into a good school! Not all homework is bad- it is the amount. For example, 50 math problems is ridiculous- for any age. Either they get it or they don’t. You can determine if a child understands a concept with three or four problems. It’s the same thing with writing spelling words you already know how to spell over and over again- why? A 6 year-old does not need to come home, sit still, focus, be on the clock and have his parent “chunk” more schoolwork for him to do. Parents know that their children and their family lives are suffering because of too much homework, but we are reluctant to demand change. I applaud parents that say, “Enough!”

lifted the duvet over her. He then crept over her feet, and onto the other side of her. The bed was vast, and he made his nest a good meter away from Hannah, but he watched her face, not entirely peaceful, and listened until her steady breathing lulled him into sleep. -- ah, I texted myself part of a story last night; that's page 2... my phone makes... yeah, doesn't matter
