Inside was dark, Ace stepped threw, eyes still on Amber before he turned inside, flickering on the lights. Inside the lights flickered on, bright but nothing to draw attention to the place from the outisde, but enough where the lights slicked they're way outside the long, blood-colored drapes that hung to the floor. Not as bad inside, the dust only covered the two rocking chairs by the door, a few a furniture pieces leaning over on the dark red wallpaper, still a dull but calming color. It even looked old, almost not from here. Ace sighed, shutting the door as he bright Amber in, "Hope you don't mind but this was a place owned by an old vampire from across the pound. Somewhere like Russia or something. At least, that's what the neighbors told me. Also told me he had the thing of keeping the vampire look dark and classy but not to show-off-ish." he shrugged, sighing heavy and walking to the huge, crimson coach, plopping down and laying there, relaxed as he breathed heavy, eyes shut, face to the ceiling.

Hey, all!

My name is Salix (well, that's not my real name; it's a nickname one of my friends gave me. But I'm not putting my real name up here, sorry stalkers ;D), recently turned 17 and a girl who loves writing. Any kind of writing, really--I also write fanfiction during my spare time (I have an account on fanfiction.net, penname Talye Kendrin), but I'd have to say that writing original stories is an even more enjoyable pastime for me, although a lot of the time I start stories, write random scenes throughout the story, but don't finish writing the entire thing, which is sad. But I have completed one story, which is technically a prologue for the story a friend of mine made... though it turned out longer than my friend's story itself. xD I won't be posting that up here, though, as once we are done the other two books in the series, my friend and I are seriously considering taking them to a publisher to try and get them published.

I am currently working on two original stories (I have starting segments for others, but they have all been at a standstill for some time now), one called Etrius (title may change in the future), and the other Open Air. I am hesitant to mention Etrius because I still have yet to decide whether I will put any of that story up here in the near or distant future (I may try to get that published, as well), but Open Air will definitely be up here sometime--the writing is just going very sluggishly right now (not done the first chapter yet) because of exams week coming up next week, and the rush to finish and hand in final projects by Friday is on right now.
