Name: Jackson
Age:: 16-0
Species: Mutt
Picture:
Description: Jackson is an elderly mutt, found on the street when he was a puppy. He is black with some brown, resembling a rottweiler somewhat. He has a white muzzle from age.
Personality: Jackson is a friendly dog, but became lonely and agitated when he was taken to the S.S. Nile. He is a bitter, coldhearted person, because he has been separated from his owner Lucy, and the Normans..
History: The Norman family took in Jackson when they found him on a vacation, wantering around the Adirondacks, half-starved. He lived with the Normans and their children, Robert (10 at the time Jackson was found), Paul (4 at the time Jackson was found), and David (a newborn at the time Jackson was found).
He lived a long, happy 16 years with the Normans, and welcomed their newest addition when Jackson was 10, a little curly haired brunette named Lucy.. The eldest two went to college and never came back to visit, and David was hospitalized for leukemia. The Normans took him to the hospital often, as the sight of the dog often cheered him up.
Most of the time, Jackson was left alone. The Norman adults fought often, often over David, their debt to the hospital, and over Lucy, as the parents began to separate. Lucy, only 6 at the time, became very upset over the fact her parents were separating, but Jackson was always at her side. She needed him, as he was her only friend, and he needed her, as she was his only source of happiness.
David succumed to his leukemia, and the parents decided to sell the house, as it had too many memories. On the day the trucks came for moving day, Lucy was supposed to go with her father, and Mrs. Norman wanted to own Jackson.
Suddenly, the truck began to lose control on the icy road, and began to head straight for Lucy. Jackson pushed the young girl out of the way, but he was ran over in the process.
