Watching her hand comb her hair, Benjamin replied, "Oh, yeah. I guess we should worry about that first, huh?" Feeling a little stupid, he mimicked his movement and ran a hand through his hair. Without his normal baseball cap, he could feel it sticking up in every direction. He then stretched both his hands up, but ended up hitting them on the roof of the elevator due to his height. The bag slipped down his arm, and he shook it a little. "Do you girls really find these things handy?" he asked conversationally. "I mean, wouldn't it be easier to just have bigger pockets?"

Ellie considered that for a moment, "well, I guess I don't really find them useful but they're, you know, fashion?" It sure was hard to explain this kind of thing to a guy. Ellie didn't really use handbags very often herself, she didn't generally have much to carry. Apart from books. Jeez, that made her sound like a geek...

"Fashion." Ben nodded his head as if he knew exactly what she meant. Then he pressed the alarm button on the elevator panel a couple more times. Alarm bells started ringing, and he covered his ears. "ACK!" he moaned! "What's wrong with this elevator?!"

Ellie covered her ears against the harsh noise and shot Ben an evil look, "why did you do that?!" she shouted over the racket.
