Dragonesque is a roleplay about humans (best friends or worst enemies) who find themselves fallen into the sea, trapped in a garden of seaweed. Little known to the drowning humanoids, the seaweed had a spell cast on it... Not just a spell, but a spell made by mystic creatures... Dragons. The humans suddenly feel their bodies morphing, twisting, and changing. The cells of skin harden and grow thicker, stronger, overlapping the one beneath it like fish scales. In their last moments of consciousness, their air slipping, they find themselves floating back to the surface in a new world that they never could have imagine existed. The anthrozils (humans with dragon blood or vise-versa) are in for a big adventure as they wake in a desert oasis, surrounded by dragon hunters. Now it is up to you to decide their fate... Limits: No invincibility. (Scales can be pierced easily with dragon slayer/hunter weapons, but it is harder for other. Dragons, when fighting, are like lions; the scales are useless defense.) Genre: Fantasy Roleplay Level: Mid Skill or Higher

Name: Rain Gender: Female Human Age: 17 Dragon Age: (Human Years times 3) 51 Human Look: Rain is an anorexic-looking girl with gorgeous pale skin. She has long white hair, created from a genetic disease. She seems almost albino, but her eyes are the wrong color. They're a deep hazel color. The pupils are surrounded by noble brown. She has a very bouncy step, and she has no freckles. Dragon Look: Rain is a slim, long-bodied, white chinese dragon with beautiful teal fur along her back. (Described in Image) Personality: Rain is strong-willed and feisty. She doesn't quit until she's done what she can or died trying. She's a kiss-up. If flattery can get you on her side, flattery is her best weapon. Image: Rain

((ooc:// I'm a little confused on one thing.. are they just.. humans trapped in the bodies of dragons, but able to morph back and forth?)) Name: Louis Gender: Male Human Age: 18 Dragon Age: (Human Years times 3) 54 Human Look: Louis is average looking, tall and lanky with long black hair that hangs over his eyes. His eyes, however, are far from average. A bright teal with light green specks, they look out of place on his tan face. For this reason he usually likes to wear a hooded sweatshirt, for he is embarrassed by the looks he gets. Oh, yes. One thing not mentioned yet- his eyes don't work. They never have. His jeans are well worn from years of adventuring, for he never likes to get rid of them until they absolutely need to be disposed of. He wears one silver band of a ring, though he's never told anyone who got it for him or where it came from. Dragon Look: His scales are a uniform shade of beautiful, muted silver, streaked through with a lighter shade when they hit the light. His wings are massive, though fitting for his long body and legs. His tail has got a frill on the end of it that matches his eyes, which stay the same color as they do in human form. He has sharp horns and claws, and webbed ears that allow his hearing to excel in dragon form even more than it does in human. Personality: Louis is very reserved and determined, not a quitter. Most people actually don't notice his blindness, for he can still feel when they look at him, can still hear everything they're doing. The setbacks that he faces he is aggravated by, and will often lose his temper with himself and himself only. He refuses to admit being different from anyone else. He is very strong in body and mind, but if he is betrayed he is not easy to be forgiven by. Once you get past his hard shell, however, his personality might surprise you. He's very kind and sweet, and will do whatever he can in his power to keep his friends safe. Image: fc51.deviantart.com/fs40/f/2009/017/0/3/Dragon_Sketch_by_shadow_wildabeast.jpg

Rain bared her long, gnarled fangs, her sallow lips curling back over the scintillating teeth. Her maw parted faintly, bringing in scents in a means which she wasn’t accommodated to. The prickly tang of the dragon slayers, an odor so unlike her own, flooded into her mouth and nipped at her taste-buds. She recoiled, her snout creased with disdain, surprised as she heard an ominous hiss seethe between the scales in her mouth, a snarl intensifying deep in her chest, making her lips twist. The teal fur that had grown along her gaunt spine stood on end with apprehension and vehemence. Her snake-like body was bowed securely around itself like a coil, her skull pressed low to the ground. Oh, she knew entirely well that she couldn’t begin to fathom how this body worked, nor to control its apt heavy movements, but she would certainly try. She glanced at the build alongside her, a dragon with a much more colossal body than her own, wholly unconscious of the fact that this was Louis, a teenager that she had known back in the human world.

Louis slowly struggled to wake himself up. He knew he was unconscious, that he could just tell right away. He didn't, however, remember what made him pass out. All he remembered was feeling strange all over- there was no real way to describe it. He remembered moving, too. Lots and lots of moving. Where was he? He tried to move his face, his nose, to take a breath in, but it felt like he had lead bricks in his brain. Though there was no real need, he strained to open his eyes.
Excruciatingly slowly, Louis came back to the real world. The weight in his body started to recede, and it was then that he noticed something was different. His eyelids snapped open- not that it made any difference. With caution, he moved his legs, one by one. They were huge, and, wiggling his toes, he realized that his feet had sharp claws at the end.
With a gasp, he realized that he had a tail. Moving it gently, he brought it up to his hand. Fur, and scales. Scales! What was he?
The answer finally dawned on him as he realized he had one more new pair of limbs. Racking his brains for the answers, the boy concluded that he had wings. He stretched them slowly, for he was lying face down in the... sand? It felt like sand, anyway. It probably was sand- if he was anywhere even remotely normal. The skin stretched tight as his wings expanded, and he gave them an experimental flap. Wind gathered in the leathery folds, bringing a breeze down on him.
Suddenly he sat up, the wings snapping back to their folded position. He shook his head and curled his tail around his body. So he was a dragon now. Interesting. He flared his nostrils, realizing that his sense of smell had improved dramatically, along with his sense of hearing. Great. That was a plus.
After a couple of minutes of collecting himself, he found three things. One, he was with someone else. Two, that someone else was another dragon, and a girl one, if his senses were correct. And three, there were other beings around them- and he didn't think their intentions were good. Opening his jaws, he let out the most menacing growl he could manage, and was impressed at the sound it made.
