{{Mika day! xD}}
Mika swam as viciously as she could, every muscle in her body moving. She kept her eyes open and kept alert for any signs of Faint. Many fish and small sea creatures swam by and once or twice Mika froze with relief as she mistook them for Faint. Mika was a skilled swimmer and she made it to the bottom in almost no time. Thick forests of seaweed and kelp covered the sea floor and, as Mika swam farther, so did many other organisms, including corals, sea annenomes {{spelling??}}, sea cucumbers, and lots of rocks. Typical exotic ocean, Mika thought, just then also realizing the inconceivable warm and clearness of the water. The surrounding was just like in those movies about the "enchanting" ocean that she had to watch when she was young. Mika hated those movies for they seemed so unrealistic. She assumed that they were artificially-made aquariums, created to make children believe the world is all kind and pure angelic, just like fairy-tales (which she never believed in either). She thought she had proved her theory by looking at the dirty, rocky, and repulsive ocean floor herself, but now, Mika realized she had been wrong. Sadness and guilt crept upon her as Mika recalled all those times she had refused to watch the new "The Magnificant Ocean" episodes and had never actually let herself get absorbed by the pictures of the sharks and sea turtles.
Shaking her head to clear the thoughts, Mika instead focused on finding Faint. That's when she saw the light. Off to her left, there was no more exotic life as if a line had been drawn through the ocean. And, squinting her eyes, Mika could see even a few corals and a rock seemed to be split in half. What the hell? Mika wondered, swimming up to the "line". Farther down, a shimmering, large, bright dome was standing on the ground. Mika got closer and closer......BLUNK! Mika was flung backwards as soon as she crossed the "line". It seemed as though an invisible, loose, rubber covering was placed where the "line" was. Getting herself together, Mika swam back several yards and stopped at the line. A booming recorded voice made her jump. It was a woman's and seemed very polite. "Welcome to the hydroelectric land of lovers. We apologize for any inconveniences as we may only let a few visitors in at a time. Please wait your turn until someone else leaves. Thank you and enjoy your stay." An oxygen mask suddenly, out of nowhere, fell down next to Mika. Picking it up, Mika inspected it several times before putting it on. It seemed completely new and safe. Mika raised an eyebrow. Hydroelectric Land of Lovers? What idiot would create something like- Mika froze cold. Her face became pale and her heart squeezed uncomfortably. No, it can't be...it can't.... Mika's head spun, which was very unusual. She recalled the name of this place. HydroElectric Land of Lovers, aka H..E..L..L.. She clutched at her head. This is insane! What am I thinking? It must be a coincidence. However, just then, the bright dome turned black. Looking up, Mika could just make out the outlines of two stick-legs being enveloped by the dome. She let out a silent scream and banged uselessly on the "line", now rock-hard and ice-cold. The dome redened and then brightened up again, as if nothing happened. Mika fell to her knees, feeling as useless as ever.
{{The lady said "a few visitors" so, if you want, you can let some of your characters go in, or, we can assume that other people already went in before Faint and therefore Faint's in there by herself. I'm fine with any decision ;D.
Great..another long post...*sighs* -_- }
