Sootpaw and Cricketpaw of NightClan were out hunting when a band of cats appeared over the horizon. "I wonder who they are," Cricketpaw mewed. Sootpaw got to his feet and waited for them to come closer so he could see who they were.
Wheatripple moved quickly, a few steps ahead of the rest of the group, with Flynk and Den on either side of him. Both of his kits looked ready, with flexing claws and rippling muscles that had already grown compact and lean.
Silluna followed at the back with a few special guests behind her. Hollowtree, Timberblood, Alleypaw, Sinpaw, Touchypaw, Windpaw, and Skypaw were grouped together, sneaking along with their claws buried into the ground.
Thistlerain's fur brissled, "Hollowtree?" He muttered. He was a medicine cat; why would he be associated with THEM?
Hollowtree stared blankly at Thistlerain, and Alleypaw quickly slipped away, brushing her elder brother's shoulder with her tail as she left. Alleypaw bounded towards Thistlerain. "Hollowtree's soul was broken when they resurrected Silluna... he's nothing but an empty shell. He has no will of his own... please, help me. I only came so I could keep him out of the war."
