Whirling up a drink (Haley x OPEN)

"I is a mind reader?!" Liam gasped.

Haley blushed, smiling, and looked down. "I would love too," she said softly. Then she realized that the coffee machine was overflowing, and pouring brown milk everywhere.

Lucy cradled the arm of her outfit, mourning for the nibbled-away thread. Cows were such agressive animals! And so were lemurs and dogs and snakes...she was stuck in a shop full of agressive animals! What's more, she noticed that her shoe were beginning to soak in spilled coffee and biodegrade on her feet.
"My shoes!" she cried, trying to jump out of the puddle, and just succeeding in splashing everyone else nearby with lukewarm coffee when she came back down.

Alyson cursed when the coffee hit her white shirt.
"Watch it, will you?!?" she yelled at Lucy.

Jackson raised his eyebrows again at Liam, and barked, "Aroooo rauuuu!" Which roughly translates as, "Now we gotta find YOU a date."
David smiled, and grabbed a napkin on the counter and started helping clean up the mess.
"Cool." he said, grinning. "Maybe we can hang out when you get off work."

Haley was pleased to be away from Alyson. She blushed at David; wow, he really liked her? "I could close down the shop now," she laughed, "But I don't think many people would be pleased."

"Awwwww!" Liam screeched in a very loud, high-pitched tone.

Jackson barked. "RAUF RAUF AROOOO." Which roughly translates as, "The master and his little female human are cute. Now only to find someone for you to annoy..."
David smiled. "Nah, that would. I'll just have to be patient..." He sighed dramatically.

ic:// "Hey Billy," Haley smiled over at him, hoping he wasn't too crushed that she had a date, although were his eyes flickering over to Adira? She smiled at him. "I'm going to leave soon, okay?" She turned her smile onto David full beam, flashing her toothy white teeth.

"I have someone to annoy!!!" Liam exclaimed. "You, buddy-boy buddy-boy buddy-boy!" He glomped Jackson.

Jackson rolled his eyes, and flicked Liam off his back.
David grinned at Haley. "It's a suprise where we're going, though."

Alyson looked at Haley, and couldn't help but feeling a little guilty. Tom noticed this, and raised his eyebrows.

Adira hadn't answered both boys as they offered to help find Steve- she was too distracted. She watched as the lemur seemed to play with something that distracted him in the corner- was that a tail he was biting and playing with? Yes, it was. Quick as a flash, Adira jogged over and scooped Steve, who had a disheveled expression on his small face, up onto her shoulders again. "You okay?" she whispered to him.

He scowled. "Sssstupid lemur..." he muttered. "I'm fine. It bit me, though. I think I need rabiessss ssshots." He flicked his tail in annoyance before burying deeper, hiding his head and becoming still.

Only then did Adira turn back to the boy, who was looking for Steve, still... Tom, was that his name? "Uh.. hi," she said. "I'm Adira. Adira Slomidan. Thanks for your help, but.. as you can see.. I found him." She smiled quickly, offering her gloved hand to help him up, for he was still crouched on his knees, looking for her snake. He was cute, she mused. And he had gorgeous eyes. She always looked down on these balls, since they were already dead, but...

"Did you call me stupid?!?!" Liam yelled at Steve. When he wanted, he could have unusually good hearing. "You're the stupid one, stupid snake stupid snake stupid snake!!!" He stuck out his tongue at Steve, and waggled his striped tail back and forth.

"So where are we going then?!" Haley asked, forgetting that surprises meant that it would be a surprise. She bounced slightly on her heels in excitement.

Lucy took a deep breath to calm herself, inhaling the odeur of various animals and beverages.
The shop seemed to have lost all hold on sanity, and she wondered if it might be best to just leave...but then she realised that to leave she would have to fight her way through a throng of people and wildlife. She didn't really fancy that.

Liam noticed Lucy looking around, and decided to surprise her. Immediately forgetting about the snake, he crept over behind Lucy and stuck his head through her legs. "BOO!" he yelled, hoping Lucy spoke Lemurese so that his yell wouldn't just sound like a cackle.

Lucy shrieked, falling over backwards in a very unladylike posture with her legs splayed.
Why was a monkey-rat thing cackling at her? ANd where had it gone now?

Lyn slipped in, clutching the wall for support as chaos reigned. Spotting the others thorough the hullaballoo, she hesitated and looked at them hesitantly, wondering what to do.
