Dogs have always been one of the most common pets in the Human world. You could understand dogs and you could tell when they were happy. A lot of them had a soft face and a gentle heart. Humans would love to say things or make faces or make funny noises at the four legged creatures to make them feel good. Dogs would sit there, wagging there tail, and always look like they were grinning because they were panting. Is that the only reason why humans loved their dogs? No. There were many more reasons behind the whole 'love' and 'bond' between your pets. They became your sister, brother, mother, father, friend, and even best friend. They became a part of you. They could fill in a spot of a loved one that either left you or died. They filled in that empty part in your heart. They make your heart melt and become soft when really you are a cold hearted person. Dogs do many wonders, wonders that you don't think of on a daily basis.
Though not all dogs were fortunate to have a happy go lucky life. Since dog breeders became so obsessed with making money, they continued to breed dogs excessively. Puppy Mills were created, and the only times dogs were let "out" was when they went to breed with another dog. It wasn't fun for them. They were kept in small cages, no room to walk or even stand. They had to sleep and eat in their own feces. What kind of life was that? And in those small cages, another dog was added to breed with. And after you bred, the dog was taken out and back to his own cage. After that you have to be pregnant and fat in that cage. And after that, puppies are born. Though those puppies might have a better and brighter futures, the parents don't. Those puppies get shipped and sent to Dog Stores all around the world. The puppies you see in the glass window come from Puppy Mills. Those puppies parents might have over-bred and now that puppy you desperately want to buy might have a problem. Those dogs in those small cages, rebel and become anti-social.
Now, thats not the only depressing thing in a dogs life. Another thing can be can be that dogs are sent or adopted into nice homes. Dogs get a chance, a second chance. Why do they get a second chance? Because their previous owners took no responsibility in owning and caring for a dog. Dogs become dehydrated, emaciated, malnourished, and get embedded collars. Then, the ASPCA or some animal control officer comes to rescue them. How do they act? Fearfully. They are terrified that a guy in uniform come up to them to take them. They don't know that they're going to a better place. Some are traumatized that they continue to be aggressive toward humans. Those dogs have three choices the humans have to make. One, euthanize the dog. Two, send it to Dog Town in Arizona. The last choice, deal with it and try to make it better. If only humans understood why the dogs acted the way they were. But some dogs don't even get a second chance. Dog fighting dogs get euthanized because they have been born and trained to kill other dogs. Some dogs are so malnourished that they die. Many dogs die a year because their owners didn't want to take time out to feed and water the dogs. To give them proper shelter. They didn't take that chance out.
Well forget the past and live in the future! Humans have eaten themselves to death. Many humans are beginning to die because of the fast foods they ate. And now, wild animals are preying upon the easy foods - humans. Humans are slowly but surely going extinct. There are so many humans out there, but slowly, they'll disappear. Dogs are now free from their past, not all, but most. Most have become street dogs that bred with other street dogs and now dogs are over populating even more! Terrible isn't it? Well, sure, for the humans. But as dogs, this is heaven.
You're unloved,
Unwanted,
You are never remembered,
Forgotten,
You roam free,
Alone,
For you will never find a home.
Welcome to the lands of
The Forgotten.
Be free,
Fight to survive,
Be a dog,
Live life without a leash,
Welcome to the lands of
The Forgotten.
