Abigail suddenly fluffed up her feathers and tried to stand up taller. "Tell me exactly, what is love then, Ronald?" she asked, getting a bit of a snitty tone in her voice.

ic:// "TART?!" Ronald exploded. "TART?!" He gasped for a moment, unable to verbally convey his fury. He swum the few centimeters distance to his mother, and smacked her with his webbed foot. "Peh!" He quickly swum back to Abigail. "Love is... Love is..." He thought for a moment, and then smacked her with his foot.
"I'm not dead!" cried Bobby, feeling ignored.

Abigail sqeaked when Ronald smacked her with his foot, then flapped in pain. "Mommy! Ronald hit me!" she cried. She then turned back to him and smacked him back with her own tiny foot.

Abigail squeaked again. "No I didn't! I never bit him!" She felt herself ruffling at the thought of putting any part of him near her beak. "He's lying again!"

Abigail stuck her tongue out at Ronald when he changed the subject, and when he dove down to get fish, she paddled over to him and jumped on top of him to push him down into the water.

ic:// "Bleurgh!" Ronald cried, but he instead ended up drinking water. He fell over in the water, and did a somersault. He sleekly swum out from under Abigail, and swam under the water a few meters before popping up to gulp in air and to cough.

Abigail flapped when Ronald slipped out from underneath her, then settling back into her normal position. When he popped out a short distance in front of her, she stuck out her tongue. "You deserved it!" she squeaked.

Mother duck screamed, "NO! I WILL NOT LOSE ANOTHER BABY!"
She rushed over to her fighting offspring, and shoved them apart, "behave! Your brother Bobby was such a good little boy. He always behaved - oh, how I miss him!"
Meanwhile, the swan on the other side looked at the family of ducks in disgust. He contemplated flying away.

"Mommy, where are you going?" Taking a leaf out of Ronald's book, Bobby donked Mother Duck with his foot.
"Uh..." Ronald muttered. "I said, good... what did I say?" He found himself lost in the rich and deep eyes of the swan. He moved closer.

"Duck weed?" Ronald moved closer. The swan's voice was very dizzying, nearly masculine. It entranced him. He stretched out a wing, to stroke the soft white feathers.
"MAMA!!!" Bobby cried. "I"M ALIVE!"
